Samsung Dishwasher Model DW80R7060US

Samsung Dishwasher Model DW80R7060US

Samsung Gem of a Dishwasher!

What’s Love have to do with a dishwasher, everything I love about the Samsung Dishwasher. A stainless steel sleek in design dishwasher with a stainless-steel interior.  No more listening to a noisy dishwasher now that my state-of-the-art Samsung Dishwasher is here.  Let’s get started with how quiet the dishwasher is, you do not even notice the dishwasher is running.  It features six wash cycles along with six options to adjust the pressure and temperature, 3rd rack, adjustable rack, digital touch control and auto release door.  The options on the dishwasher are auto, normal, heavy, delicate, express 60, rinse, storm wash, lower rack only, hi-temp and sanitize.  Let’s not forget the delay time. You even have a control lock to keep the children or perhaps the hubby from playing with the dishwasher. The third rack is perfect for small items, I place my cooking utensils and or extra silverware on the third rack. The top rack is adjustable, you can lower or raise the rack.    Storm wash is a great feature, it’s located in the back of the left side of the dishwasher.  The dishwasher has the storm wash option which when activated allows additional power to the water jets in the storm wash area.  The powerful spray jets get into all the spots to ensure it comes out sparkling clean.  The lower rack option allows you to load the lower rack and just wash the dishes on the lower rack.  The dishwasher not only does a phenomenal cleaning its stylish sleek design looks fantastic in the kitchen.  The auto release door is a favorite of mine and a big WOW!  The auto release door is a dry function which automatically opens the doors about twelve minutes before the cycle ends (yes, I did sit there and wait for the door to open).  You can turn the auto release door off, but why would you it’s a great feature.  The hidden touch controls and recessed handle give the dishwasher’s a sleek and modern appearance. Another gem is the rinse aid light indicator letting you know its time to add more rinse detergent.  Unlike past dishwasher’s Samsung’s fingerprint resistant is a pleasure to have in the kitchen.  The racks have premium ball bearings allowing the racks to glide in and out smoothly.  The lower rack can accommodate twelve-piece settings which is perfect for a large family. The upper rack is adjustable for taller items.  They recommend you use rinse aid and it does helps with the drying process.   I have had many dishwashers over the years and by far this Dishwasher is a grand slam.

Samsung Galaxy Tab S6

Samsung Galaxy Tab S-6

Game on With the Tab S6!

So many feature upgrades from the Tab S-4.  The S6 has a display resolution of 2560 x 1600, octa-core processor, 256 GB memory, audio is AKG with 4 speakers, one in each corner. S-Pen, Wi-Fi and Bluetooth all standard. The Tab can also accommodate an external memory up to 512 GB. The Tab performs as a 2 in 1 with the optional keyboard case.  You can then use it as a tablet or as a laptop. The Dex software will make it look just like a Windows desktop computer screen.  With the slim design it’s easy to take along on your travels or school.  The display is beautiful, and the colors are true to color and crisp.  The on-screen fingerprint scanner is nice, if you do not want to use the scanner you can simply use a passcode instead.  An update from the Iris scanner on the S4, the fingerprint scanner is easier to use.  The speakers are improved with more bass. You have four speakers on the Tab and the sound clarity is excellent. The S-Pen is a nice improvement with it being magnetic.  Whether you are writing, pointing, drawing or doodling the S-Pen is comfortable to hold and use. Drawing with the S-Pen is cool. The added addition to the S-Pen is called air actions, which are commands activated by waving the S Pen around the air, does take time to get use to that, unless you are a music conductor!  The battery life is good, I can get about 14 hours of heavy use before recharging. The audio Atmos is amazing and clear. Conquering the world in a game is super on the Tab.  Working, surfing the net, shopping, watching a movie or playing on the Tab is marvelous.  The Samsung Galaxy Tab S-6 is the most sought after in our house.  Of course, you have your normal buttons on the Tab, on/off and volume and there is a USB-C-port.  Be aware there is no headphone jack, for some that may be a negative, but with the way tech is going there’s no need for one since everyone goes for the wireless headphones. The Dex system is easy to use, great for multitasking.   I can have Netflix running and bring up a web page and more at the same time.  Watching a movie on the 10.5-inch Samsung Galaxy Tab S-6 shows beautifully. You can view You-Tube at 1444 P which is one of the best. The S-6 has an aluminum back, they got rid of the glass back which the S-4 has.  The Bezel is very small, just enough to allow you to hold the tablet and see the whole screen.  The S-pen fits right in, it’s no longer an afterthought. Notification if the S Pen is not placed back in the right spot to charge.  The battery life is very good more than 14+ hours. Fast charge c port gets you back in play quickly.  The transparency option is cool for keeping notes while working or playing.  Game booster (kills all other apps, so just the game is running) is a nice feature. It does seem as though Samsung has put a big focus on gamers. Fortnight at 30 fps no problem at all, no lagging.

Of course, there is a camera on the Tab. You have a multi camera set-up which means a 13 MP F 2.0 main sensor is paired with a 5-megapixel F/2.2 ultra-wide back-up, impressive.  The secondary camera is great for wide angle shots. There is an 8 MP camera in the front, which is good for video calls or selfies. I still prefer the smaller smart phones for picture taking, but for occasional photos the Tab is great.

Overall a very fast, great looking screen, able to play demanding games without any lag, great expandable storage, a case that holds the S-Pen and a large keyboard with a track pad.  Some people will love the Tab S-6 and others will just like it a whole lot.

The S6 Tab Case

You Need the Case!

The Samsung Galaxy Tab S6 and the case go hand in hand.  You will most definitely want the keyboard case. It not only protects the Tab S6 from scratches it also is a fully functional keyboard.  The keyboard magnetically snaps onto the S6, so no wires or power cables.  You can also detach the keyboard from the cover.   The trackpad and keys respond nicely.  The built-in pocket for the S-Pen is a major plus.  The kickstand can be adjusted to numerous angles.  The keyboard can be customized with some shortcuts or you can use the Dex mode shortcut keys.  With the keyboard case it transforms you tablet into a PC experience. When you attach the keyboard the Dex mode pops up and you are ready to go.  This cover is far better with the detachable keyboard unlike the S4 cover which was bulkier since you could not remove the keyboard.  No worries about spills on the keyboard, since it is spill proof.
